State Leadership & Skills Conference

“SkillsUSA: IGNITE YOUR POTENTIAL 2024-2025”

SkillsUSA Wisconsin is heading back to Madison, WI, April 1st & 2nd, 2025, for the 52nd annual State Leadership and Skills Conference (SLSC).
SLSC is a showcase of career and technical education students and more than 2,000 individuals including students, teachers, and industry partners are expected to participate in the event.

SkillsUSA WI State Pin Design 2025 – Early Competition Announcement

  • Registration for the SLSC Pin Design Competition will open on December 2nd and close on December 13th, 2024 for both Middle School and High School participants.
  • Please refer to the Technical Standards for preparation details.
  • Contest-specific information will be emailed to all contestants and advisors by December 17th. Make sure all email addresses in the Registration System are accurate!
  • Contest files can be uploaded to the contestant’s designated folder from December 17th to January 5th, 2025 (Deadline: January 5th).
  • Virtual Interviews will be scheduled and take place in mid-January, 2025.
  • Contestants will need to set up their display at SLSC following the provided guidelines.
  • This competition will count as 1 Leadership Competition for SLSC. Contestants will also be able to sign up for 1 Skilled Competition at a later date. (As per SLSC guidelines, a contestant may participate in either one Leadership or Occupational competition and one Skilled competition.)
  • The results will remain confidential until they are announced at SLSC on April 1st & 2nd, 2025 where the First Place pins will be distributed to all contestants.

NEW:  Seeking Musical Talent to Perform National Anthem at Wisconsin SLSC 2025!

Do you have a musical gift to share with the SkillsUSA community? If so, apply to perform the national anthem at the opening session of SkillsUSA’s Wisconsin Leadership & Skills Conference on April 1st, 2025 at 1pm.   Please make a short audition video, email us at wisconsinskillsusa@gmail.com with your name, school and email address.  We will then send you a google folder to upload your audition into. 

COMPETITORS and VOTING DELEGATES need to be registered and paid for by March 1st to be eligible.

Registration: The registration fee includes lunch on Wednesday, insurance, general sessions, vendors, materials, and supplies. To register, go to the national registration website
