SkillsUSA Wisconsin is heading back to Madison, WI, April 9th-10th 2024, for the 51st annual State Leadership and Skills Conference (SLSC).

SLSC is a showcase of career and technical education students and more than 2,000 individuals including students, teachers, and industry partners are expected to participate in the event.

Registration: The registration fee includes lunch on Wednesday, insurance, general sessions, vendors, materials, and supplies. To register, go to the national registration website

  • The following contests occur at MATC Madison: (tentatively)
    • Architectural Drafting,
    • Automotive Refinishing Technology,
    • Computer Programming,
    • Collision Repair Technology,
    • Electronics Technology,
    • Information Technology Services,
    • Precision Machining Technology,
    • Technical Drafting,
    • Welding (High School).
  • The hands-on portion of the Culinary Arts contest will be held on March 15, 2024 at Waukesha County Technical College.
  • The contest matrix is a list of all contests being offered this year.  Contests are subject to change if technical committees are not available to run the contest.
  • All contestants must turn in a copy of their resume at their contest briefing.

March 4th  Pin Design National Bound competitor materials due in assigned google folders
March 15th   State Officer Candidate Packets to be eligible for candidacy 
March 15th  Voting Delegates Form – 2 per school allowed, non competitors are exempt!
March 25th  Hotel Reservation Block (How to reserve hotel rooms & Hotel Link) closes
March 29th Looking for adult volunteers, except registration option available
April 9th Deadline for contestant substitutions

Automated Manufacturing


Will be provided to the technical committee weekly to ensure scheduling can take place.
Culinary Will be held March 15th @ WCTC in Waukesha.  Tentative Agenda
Pin Design Will be done virtually March 5th – 8th for middle and high school divisions.
Contestants see emails sent to you and your advisors.
