All registration must be completed through the SkillsUSA national registration site.
Each participating school is required to have at least one registered advisor or chaperone on-site during the event.

Theme for your Photos (2) for Districts
Both prints are physical printed (your photo lab at school OR walgreens, etc is acceptable. These photos are done ahead of time and brought to districts to be presented to the judges. Photos can be B&W OR Color – student’s choice. These photos need to be mounted to a photo mounting blackboard. Similar to these 2) Do they need any equipment for their competition? Students will need a computer with editing software, camera and SD Card reader 3) What are things that they need to know or do before the competition? Students will be taking photos at the event as well as using Adobe Photoshop to create various designs. |

2025 SkillsUSA Districts – Screen Printing Outline Students/advisors/chapters will be provided a 1-color file to make their own screen at their own school 20” x 24” screens (or something close to that size) will work best Bring the screen to the competition with image on it and the edges taped (ready to print) Bring a printed copy of the image if you want to assist with alignment Ink and a squeegee will be provided Testing squares and t-shirts will be provided for printing After printing, students will be required to complete a general cleanup (clean the ink off of their screen and squeegee etc) Rags, solvent, and gloves will be provided There will be a short written assessment covering some procedural and equipment terms along with review of some basic processes of screen printing. Attached are 3 files for screen printers. Please send to any advisors involved.
“Screen Print Shirts 2025.pdf” should open in Illustrator as layers. There is a red printer layer and a white printer layer. I’ll send the .ai file too.
