Regional competitions provide students with a great opportunity to further develop their skills between district events and the State Leadership and Skills Conference.

  • Registration for contests and competitions takes place on the national registration site.
  • Be sure to note the registration close date below.
  • A contest may close before the registration closes if all spots are filled.
    • Student Competitors: $40.00
    • Student Observers: $20.00
    • Advisors/Chaperones: $10.00 (covers meal)
  • Schools can attend any regional competition of their choosing. You do not need to reside in the region you attend.
  • Schools may attend more than one regional competition.
  • At least one registered adult advisor/chaperone should accompany each school in attendance.
  • meal will be provided for registered student competitors, student observers, and advisors/chaperones at all regional competitions. Be sure that any dietary restrictions are listed on your registration submission.
  • All participants must bring a resume and any safety equipment outlined in the technical standards document. Review the contest websites for additional notes on what to bring.
  • Students can register for more than one contest at a competition as long as each contest is in a different category (occupational, technical, leadership) and logistically the combination of the contests works within the available timeframe. Some contests will take the entire time and more than one contest just won’t be an option.
