Registration Open Jan. 28th, 2025 Closes Feb. 12th, 2025 – Now OPEN

  • Registration for contests and competitions takes place on the national registration site.
  • Be sure to note the registration close date below.
  • A contest may close before the registration closes if all spots are filled.
    • Student Competitors: $40.00
    • Student Observers: $20.00
    • Advisors/Chaperones: $10.00 (covers meal)
  • Schools can attend any regional competition of their choosing. You do not need to reside in the region you attend.
  • Schools may attend more than one regional competition.
  • At least one registered adult advisor/chaperone should accompany each school in attendance.
  • A SINGLE CONTESTANT MAY COMPETE IN ONE LEADERSHIP OR OCCUPATIONAL AND ONE SKILLED COMPETITION!

Thursday – February 27th, 2025

3:00 PM – 3:30 PM Contestants: Check in for Thursday Night Competitions

3:30 PM – 3:45 PM Welcome 

3:45 PM – 4:00 PM Transition to Leadership Competitions

4:00 PM – 7:00 PM Leadership Competitions and Advisor Meeting

New – Thursday Night Social 4:00 – 7:00 pm for all students (not already competing) Heritage Center (food available for purchase at the Student Center)  All Students must stay on campus!

Optional Advisor Meeting 6:00 – 7:00 pm

Friday – February 28th, 2025

7:00 AM – 7:30 AM Contestants: Check in 

7:30 AM – 8:00 AM Opening Ceremony MSC – Great Hall

8:00 AM – 8:30 AM Transition to Competitions

8:30 AM – 11:00 AM Competitions 

11:00 AM – 11:30 AM Contestants must return to the Great Hall. MSC – Great Hall

11:30 AM – 12:30 PM Lunch 

12:30 PM – 2:00 PM Awards and Closing Ceremony MSC – Great Hall

Competition Guidelines

Technical Drafting (HS) 20 Rules for the SkillsUSA 2025 Stout Regional event.
1. No use of personal computers or laptops. Only desktop computers provided by UW-Stout can be
used for the sake of uniformity and fairness.
2. Participant can only work on SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor. No other software, including
Fusion 360, is allowed.
